In restorative yoga, less is more. It's slow, gentle and is said to be the antidote to stress. We hold postures for longer periods of time with support of props such as bolsters, blocks and blankets. Finding ease and stillness in order to slow down busy brains and to soothe our nervous system.

Restorative asanas are designed to reduce stress by activating the parasympathetic nervous system and encouraging deep rest. We’re looking to feel supported rather than seeking sensations or a stretch. Less doing, more being. Slowness, stillness, ease.

In my classes we’ll have a little wiggle and a stretch before moving onto some longer, supported restorative postures, followed by a long dreamy savasana.

All postures will be either seated or lying down and I will offer adaptations and alternatives to help you get the most out of your practice.

Join me for 90 minutes of restorative yoga and sound.

This in-person event offers a unique opportunity to rest in community, to connect back to yourself and find balance in mind, body, and spirit.
